Tameer Microfinance Bank and Telenor Pakistan have announced launch of Money Transfer, said a statement issued by Telenor. Money Trasnfer is going to be the second in a suite of products being offered under easypaisa. The service would be available for all customers, even if they don’t have Telenor connections. After seeking information through “SIM Information system 668” introduced by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), around 0.175million complainants i.e. 5.9 percent of total SMSs received at PTA’s System, have so far visited the Customer Service Centers (CSC) of concerned mobile operators for their SIM data correction. Simultaneously, more than 0.4 million illegal/irregular SIMs have been removed from the complainants’ CNICs after they provided undertaking, statement issued by PTA said.
