Nokia 2nd Quarterly Report 2011 Shows No Good Signs
Nokia’s quarterly report released today showed that the company was in deep trouble. The net sales of its cell phones is down by 23% and a decline of 44% was reported in operating profit. As compared to last year’s 2nd quarter, Nokia has faced a loss of about 782 million Euros in operating profit.

Report: Android Top iOS Installed Base by Next Year
Horacio Dediu of asymco analysts have concluded that at some time in 2012, users of Android overtake the installed base of users of IOS. AGP Detects Rs 7.75 Bln Irregularities From Telecom Sector
The Auditor General of Pakistan has detected irregularities, embezzlements, unauthorised expenditure, non-recoveries and losses, amounting to Rs 7.75 billion in various sections of telecommunication. The AGP, in its report on accounts of this sector for 2008-09, observed that the national exchequer suffered a total loss of Rs 7.247 billion in the NTC; Rs 464.11 million in Special Communication Organisation (SCO) and Rs 8.399 million in Pakistan Telecommunication.
