Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo has filed a federal antitrust lawsuit against Intel Corporation. The suit charges that Intel violated state and federal anti-monopoly laws by engaging in a worldwide, systematic campaign of illegal conduct revealed in e-mails in order to maintain its monopoly power and prices in the market for microprocessors.
China Help Pakistan to Launch Satellite in 2011
The first satellite of Pakistan will be launched on April 2011, said member planning commission for science and technology Dr. Samar Mobarakmend. First Embedded Video Ad in Print Magazine
The first-ever video advertisement will be published in a traditional paper magazine in September. The video-in-print ads will appear in select copies of the US show business title Entertainment Weekly. The slim line screens around the size of a mobile phone display – also have rechargeable batteries. The chip technology used to store the video described as similar to that used in singing greeting cards is activated when the page is turned. Each chip can hold up to 40 minutes of video. Google Initiated Billboard Ad Campaign for Office Docs
Google is set to launch a nationwide billboard ad campaign to promote its free open-source suite of office applications, named Google Docs. The new campaign is meant to take direct aim against Microsoft’s popular Office Suite.
To compete with Google Docs, Microsoft recently announced a free simplified version of its Office Suite available as a free cloud application. Additionally, Microsoft and Yahoo just inked a merger deal, that would use Microsoft’s search engine Bing on all Yahoo sites, with Yahoo carrying the load of selling search advertising services for both technology giants.
