New IT Policy Expected Within Two Months
The government would announce new Information Technology Policy within two months, envisaging an active participation of the private sector for bringing about technological revolution in the country.
“The role of the government would be that of a facilitator and promoter of the IT sector and it is considering to bring private sector into the mainstream as the main driving force for growth,” Secretary IT Naquibullah Malik said on Friday.
