Apple easily earned more than $128 billion in 2011. This includes sales of their best-selling iPhones, iPads and many computer products. Last year they sold more than 72 million iPhones. Together those phones could outweigh the most famous Parisian landmark, the Eiffel Tower. In fact, iPhones represent 40 percent of Apple’s sales.
Apple is perhaps the epitome of an excellent tech company. While Microsoft and Google among others are notable names as well, it is safe to assume that Apple leads in terms of innovation and growth. This is also evident by the fact that Apple became the most valuable company in the US for a short period this year. Apple continually tends to surprise consumers by unveiling excellent products periodically which begs the question, what is Apple planning next?
