Government To Develop and Promote IT In Pakistan
Pakistan till now having a strong information technology setup and work is going on in this industry very rapidly. There are five cellular operators currently working are Mobilink, Telenor, Warid, Ufone and Zong. Not only this the broadband provision has also developed and the broadband companies include Wateen, Wi-Tribe, Qubee and PTCL. So it will not be wrong if we say Pakistan is moving with a great pace in IT sector.

PM Emphasized on Early Establishment of IT Institutes in Under-Developed Areas
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said that human resource development in the field of Information Technology would facilitate expansion of IT and Telecom Sector in the country. He emphasized on the early establishment of IT institutes in the under developed areas of the country to equip the youth in these areas with requisite knowledge and skills.The Prime Minister was chairing a meeting here at the PM House on Thursday to review the status of his directives to establish IT Universities/Institutes in the under developed areas of the four provinces, AJK and Gilgit Baltistan.
