It has been found that private data of President Asif Ali Zardari had also been targeted by some private investigators hired by 'The Sunday Times', a news paper owned by Rupert Murdoch. Nick Davies, a journalist who uncovered the recent phone hacking scandal to expose the unethical and illegal news-gathering practices in the British press, was of the view that President Zardari's credit card data was obtained by a private investigator for The Sunday Times.

Ministry of IT & Telecom Started Investigation About National Data Centre

Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom has started investigation regarding delay in execution of national data centre project. Arrangements have also been made to forcefully stop those employees who are willing to appear as witness. Ministry has issued two separate notifications. One notification announces start of investigations regarding delay in the project and whereas according to the second notification a committee has been formed to review the cases of extension in service of employees. The committee will submit its recommendations for extension in service in a few days.
