Casey Anthony 'Not Guilty' News Spikes Internet Traffic!
Internet traffic spiked as Casey Anthony was announced not guilty of murder. The news caused heavy flow of traffic over various internet websites. Akamai, a content delivery network reported that its news site views jumped sharply from 2 million to nearly 3.3 million views per minute. Most of the traffic was reported to be from the US.
Final Hearing on 27th October Against PTCL Privatisation in SHC
Sindh High Court (SHC) will conduct the final hearing on October 27th against the privatisation of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on a constitutional petition filed by the labour union of the company.
The Judiciary has also stopped the PTCL administration either to sell off or mortgage the assets of the telephone company.
Abdul Majeed Pirzada the Council of PTCL labour union President, Haji Khan Bhatti pleaded in the Court that the process of privatization is unconstitutional and non-transparent.
Making his plea the Council further said that the new PTCL administration is paying of the outstanding dues either by selling off the company’s assets or by mortgaging them.
The defendant’s Council did not appear in the Court.
SHC issued a stay order after hearing the arguments of the plaintiff’s Council and fixed the date of October 27th for the final hearing.
