Tameer Bank & Telenor Launches ‘Money Transfer’
Tameer Microfinance Bank and Telenor Pakistan have announced launch of Money Transfer, said a statement issued by Telenor. Money Trasnfer is going to be the second in a suite of products being offered under easypaisa. The service would be available for all customers, even if they don’t have Telenor connections. Original ID card and photocopies are termed must have things for carrying transaction (either for depositing or withdrawing money).
'Telenor Sweden appoints Inge Lindberg as New CFO'
Telenor Sweden has appointed Inge Lindberg Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as member of its executive board. She comes from Teracom where she was finance director. Lindberg succeeds Tomas LjunglAAf who chose to leave Telenor Sweden.
Lnge Lindberg comes from the role as Finance Director of Teracom. He will be part of Telenor Sweden’s management team.Inge Lindberg, 44 years, has extensive experience from management positions in finance and telecom. He has worked as Financial Manager of Telia and Konsultchef at Deloitte Consulting with a focus on financial control. Since 2006 he is Director of Finance at Teracom.
Telenor Pakistan Ambassador Program Concludes with Certificate Awarding Ceremony
The Telenor Pakistan Ambassador program came to an end with a Certificate Awarding Ceremony at a local hotel, here in Islamabad. Through this program, interns experience one of the most educationally enriching internship programs in the corporate sector. University students from all over Pakistan get together on this platform and are actively engaged in real time projects that provide them’ with ample learning opportunities.
Telenor Pakistan Ambassador Program Convocation is an event that takes place, every year to appreciate and commemorate the participation of interns in the Internship program at Telenor Pakistan.
CEO Telenor Pakistan Jon Eddy Abdullah, Vice President Human Capital Division Telenor Pakistan Nayab Baig and senior officials from Bahria University, NUST Business School, Air University and NUMUL were present at the occasion. The ceremony began with a welcome’ note from the management of Telenor Pakistan, followed by a presentation about HR Initiatives aimed at “Shaping the Professionals of tomorrow”. Later, In the evening certificates were awarded to the Interns of 2009 that marked the end of the Ambassador program.
