EVO, since its introduction by PTCL has seen some popularity. But despite being the fastest internet service in the country, it still didn’t get the reception that it should have. The primary factor affecting its sales was the price of the device and the monthly charges. PTCL customers, usually paying the lowest in market, certainly won’t pay Rs. 4000 for a device and a monthly charge of Rs. 2000.
Mobile Monday was held in Islamabad on 4th April 2011. This was basically the interactive session that was organized by Comsats Institute of Information Technology in the faculty cafeteria. As the name of this event was mobile Sunday so you can imagine its nature. It was attended by more than 100 students and faculty members. The team from PTA was also invited there. They discussed about the different of various mobile phone technologies including 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G.
