National Asembly Body on IT Recommended Legal Action Against Facebook
National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunications on Monday adopted a resolution that is against the activities of Facebook and profanity recommended that international action against those responsible. The committee, chaired by Vice President Muhammad Chaudhry Tahir Barjas, early in the attention of members to the book blasphemous activities of the face and want a discussion first, followed by the Ministry and relevant organizations explanation for his action against these activities blasphemy.
The adviser to Prime Minister of computer science and telecommunications, State Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Technology and President of Pakistan Telecom Authority has informed the Board that the management of blasphemy PTA, the day before the decision of the High Court was blocked.

The Commission had on its agenda in order to further probe into the privatization of PTCL in the light of previous sitting 20 April 2010; detailed presentation of NTC, its performance in the last two years and other items.
But the agenda for the privatization of PTCL is postponed to the next meeting as Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Advisor to Prime Minister just could not attend the meeting due to his serious commitment to the national budget.
National Telecommunication Corporation gave a presentation on their performance in the last two years. After the presentation of the questions that members have responded and the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Information Technology Secretary, Ministry for Information Technology and Chairman of the National Telecom Corporation.
