Mobile Web App Convenience
Smartphone have done something that people have been waiting for more than a decade. These portable devices have allowed people to access their accounts to communicate with friends, pay their bills, shop, and check their balances with additional hardware. This is all thanks to the mobile web apps.
Laptop vs. Smartphone
The early inventions of the Smartphone were cool, but people noticed that the ability to access the internet was still not that great. What was the point of getting access to the web if you could barely read the content? This is the question that people asked as they played around with Smartphone that their friends had purchased. It seemed like quite an expensive device that had not yet had all the kinks worked out. There was a change in the attitude of consumers when the mobile web apps surfaced.
Avoiding Direct Internet Connections
When people use the apps they still need a valid IP address. In other words, they have to connect to the Internet they just don’t see the interface through a regular web browser environment. Mobile apps are designed to be simple versions of websites. They are not crowded with lots of links that are not relevant to users on the go. To the contrary, these links are designed to specifically get people to the areas that they would frequently visit. This includes those things like checking account balances or transfers for banking apps. It may include document lists for cloud storage apps. There are a variety of apps that are designed to only use the things that are really deemed important.
Visibility
What is great about these apps is that they provide visibility. Before, people would have to use their thumbs to zoom in and out on the screen. This is still the case for smart phone users that don’t download the apps. The screen size for a smart phone is too small to surf for long periods of time through browsers. Web apps for these mobile devices, on the other hand, make it easier to see data. These apps are also good because smart phone owners do not have to click to open the web app and type in the website name. With the app there is just one thing to open and instantly log into. If you save your credentials you can skip the log in process. This makes the app even faster.
Free vs. Premium
There are lots of debates on the value of premium apps over the free ones. Many people don’t even bother to look at the premium apps unless there is something that just isn’t available through the free apps.
Lots of the apps are trial and error. People don’t really know how well the apps will work until they start using them. Sometimes the description is misleading. There are other times when apps will constantly crash. It is always good to read consumer reviews. This will tell you everything that people have experienced with this particular web app.
