Today, Apple rolled out the latest version of iTunes, 10.5.1 for both Windows and Mac platform. This is a public release and people have been waiting for it since the last month.
As I mentioned above, people have been waiting for it because just like the iOS 5, iTunes 10.5.1 was also so much delayed and there have been many beta versions rolled out for the developer before this final product. Apple has worked very hard and the company is still working to bring improvements in its products and services to provide a smooth experience to the users of all the iOS based devices.
If you don’t live under the rock, then you would also might remember iTunes Match, which was not released in iTunes 10.5 last month but was available is its beta. Now, iTunes 10.5.1 has brought the iTunes Match alongside it but the service still in beta stage and it is also supported in the devices which are running in US only. Despite all these facts, if you fall into this category, then you will be lucky one to enjoy Apple’s new venture in web area.
As you know Apple already fixed many bugs in iTunes 10.5.x betas so it should be almost perfect. But we cant say that it is the final version as there is possibility that Apple might release the next update of iTunes and iOS 5 in the near future. It is also expected that the next update might be bringing the support for iTunes Match all around the world.
For the latest iTunes version, you can go to Apple’s Official Page or you can just press the update tab internally in your iTunes installed on Windows or Mac.
