iPhone 5 New Features And Specifications
iPhone 5 is the most awaited gadget of Apple and company has launched it on 12th September. There were many rumors and most of them have been proven true. The design of iPhone 5 is similar to iPhone 4 and 4S, but the building components are glass and aluminum. iPhone 5 20% lighter and the weight is only 112 g. The gadget is 18% thinner, which is 7.6 mm.
The screen of iPhone 5 is 4 inches and aspect ratio is 16:9. 1136 x 640 screen resolution is simply amazing. Apple has taken a bold step by updating all the apps and coordinating them with better resolution. Now home screen has five rows of icons. Display has been integrated with touch sensor and iPhone 5 is not only thinner but it also has an accurate touch screen.
If we talk about the connectivity, Apple has not only included HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA but it has also added LET. A single chip in the iPhone 5 plays the dual role; it not only handles all voice call but other data too. This gadget will be able to use on a large number of LTE networks, all around the world. IN United States, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint will support this, while in Canada Telus and Bell are compatible with iPhone 5. BC4334 chip is the latest Broadcom inside this Apple gadget, which ensures that it is supported by the Wi-Fi networks, which are 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
The power package for iPhone 5 is A6 SoC, which is smaller than A5 and at the same time it’s faster too. A6 SoC has dual core Cortex – A15 SoC, which is called as GPU, which is 5 time faster as compared to the GPU of A5. Due to the larger battery size, iPhone 5 supports 8 hours of LTE browsing and the standby time of this gadget is 225 hrs.
8MP camera is another interesting feature in this new gadget, which further has low light mode, better alignment of lens, hybrid IR filter, smart filter and much more. The most stunning feature of this device is the panorama mode. You can capture the image in 8MP mode and the panorama image will be 28Mp in resolution. Other features like video stabilization and face detection are also updated in iPhone 5. The front camera of iPhone 5 is also better than before, i.e. 720p resolution.
The phone aspects of iPhone 5 are also enhanced. For noise cancellation this new iPhone has three microphones, at the bottom, front and back. iPhone 5 also has earpiece for noise cancellation, wideband audio and better speaker design, which is 20% smaller.
Lighting is the new dock connector, which is thinner and smaller than the old one. It has 8 signal design and its 80% smaller than the previous one. It’s digital and reversible also. People have old iPhone can get a converter.
For 16GB iPhone 5, you have to pay $199 for two years contract. Pre orders will start in the current month and shipping will also start by the end of this month. The gadget will be available in some countries by the end of this month. At the end of this year, iPhone 5 will be available in nearly 100 countries and on 240 networks.
