Facebook Is More Effective Than Twitter For Top News Websites

The world has become global village and it is due to the online or virtual communications. Now question arises how can we do virtual communication? Social networking websites or you can platforms are very helpful in this regard and serving the world of internet in a better way.

Facebook and Twitter are two social networking platforms that connect billions of people globally without any charges. The work of both websites is different but the directions are same. Facebook empathizes on personal contacts whereas twitter connects you with sharing of certain information.

In a statistical survey it has been found that Facebook gets more traffic to tops news websites than Twitter, this study or survey has been done by Pew Research Center study.

Basically the study has been conducted for top news websites and it has been found that Facebook and Twitter are on top. Now both are each other’s competitor but if you compare it with Google then Google is ranked on top.

It is worthy information that Facebook is having 500 million users whereas Twitter has 200 million accounts. This study has not just ended up on facebook or twitter but other news websites have also watched and different results are found.

The Huffington Post is boosted 8% more by using facebook and Newyork times boosted to 6% with the reference of unique visitors. The Los Angeles Times JUST GET 3.53% more traffic due to social networking.

So you have seen how effective are both social networking tools and these platforms provides unique traffic to several top news websites. It is not just news websites but you can drive unique traffic on any other website by introducing it with people.
