Google Sync now features push Gmail, as well as the already present Google Contacts and Google Calendar support. Until now Google Sync has provided useful but somewhat limited functionality for iPhone, Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile users, but with Gmail now supported there are obvious benefits of having an 'always-on connection'. The Sync service was released in beta form in February and has to date supported just Calendar and Contact details. The Gmail sync option integrates into your handset's native email client, and will push-update automatically, meaning that 'your inbox is up to date, no matter where you are or what you're doing', so says the official Google Mobile Blog. I am experiencing the gmail down time from the morning as i come to office and login my gmail account its down. First i was surprised what is this someone hacked my account or what but after few second after reading what google has to say about the error i realized that its some problem at the gmail end. After that i try to contact support staff and search about the problem on the internet. I found that many people around the globe are having problem accessing gmail. According to CNNMoney.com Google's Web-based mail program suffers widespread outages, but the company says the problem is now fixed A majority of Google mail users were unable to access the service Tuesday afternoon, in a rare widespread outage of the popular Gmail service. Google said at 5:37 p.m. ET that it fixed the problem but was still investigating the cause of the outage, which lasted for over an hour.
