Make the iPhone 4S Rear Logo Glow

By Saad Riaz Qazi on December 17, 2011

One can’t really argue when you say iPhone is a very beautiful phone when it comes to aesthetics; the glass and metal drip with quality. It definitely is a piece of art.

All of the Apple products have the Apple logo on the backs. Same is the case with the iPhone 4s and other iPhones. The MacBook too has an Apple logo at the book. But there is one crucial difference between the logo on MacBook and the logo on the iPhone 4S and I honestly do not understand why that difference still exists because if it didn’t the beauty of the iPhone 4s will increase ten folds if you ask me. The difference I’m talking about is a beautiful glow that the logo on the back of MacBook gives out when it is turned on. So you can tell it’s an Apple product even if you use it in complete darkness.

Some might say that this is a little snobbish but who cares as long as it looks beautiful. I am sure you will pay extra EXTRA to get the logo on the back of the iPhone 4S glow. The only drawback I see in this is the extra drainage of battery which already isn’t doing very well.

A Chinese company has made it possible. All you have to do is get a kit worth $42 and you can make your logo glow. The kit consists of a new rear panel and a light strip. All you need to do is change the rear panel and you’re set. The process still requires a certain amount of dexterity which is why we also have a video for demonstration purposes. The video was released by the company itself to make it a little easier for you to get the hang of it. Here is the link to the video.

After you are all done with fixing your new rear panel, the light on the logo will glow as soon as you turn the screen on. The light will stay on for a period of fifteen seconds after the screen is turned off.

You should definitely give it a try. It’s worth it.
