Twitter is a very common platform for social networking amongst the iPhone and Android users. There are a number of applications available for you to share your tweets for your followers to read. Some of you might like Tweetbot and others might like Twitter and some might even use TweetDeck. Android users however switch their twitter applications for some reason on a very regular basis.
There might also be Windows Phone 7 fans out there amongst you and guess what? Now all you WP 7 fans can have a taste of the Metro UI offered by the Windows Phone 7 on your iPhone. Note that the Metro UI will only be on this application that we will talk about today. The application I am referring to is twitter client and it goes by the name of Maha. What Maha offers is very simple. It offers you a twitter client with WP7 look which means the Metro UI you guys love for its simplicity. Maha for iPhone behaves exactly as Twitter for WP7 does.
As soon as you install Maha for iPhone you will be surprised by the similarity it has with the Twitter application for WP7 and what’s more surprising is exactly how they got away with it. But that really doesn’t matter; the point is that they were able to give a touch of WP7 to the beloved iPhone in the form of a very popular social network.
Apart from this you can tap and hold a tweet and it’ll bring up several options such as replying or retweeting and stuff. Maha also offers you to share your images on twitter. So basically it performs all the necessary functions of your usual twitter application.
The only thing Maha is missing when compared to the Twitter for iPhone is the pull to refresh feature. Maha uses a refresh button instead which really isn’t a big deal but those of you who are used to the ‘pull to refresh’ might find it mildly annoying.
If you are a fan of the WP7 look (I am) you should definitely try this application out. It’ll do you good.
You can download the app here.
Happy Tweeting!
