Black Friday

Well, the guys at 9to5Mac were first to release the price list of Apple’s Black Friday products sales this year. Many of you might notice that the discounts are almost same as they were in last year’s Black Friday, which are only modest discounts on Apple products. Following is the list of Apple’s core products and their price drops released by 9to5Mac:

  • iPad 2 – $41 to $61 Off
  • iPod nano – $11 off
  • iPod Touch – $21 to $41 off
  • MacBook Air – $101 off
  • MacBook Pro – $101 off
  • iMac – $101 off

On the other hand, Black Friday deals also include some small discounts on the third party accessories for the Apple products. The small discounts range from $11 to $101.95 and following are the few accessories included in the sale; iPad Smart Covers, iPhone battery packs, external hard drives and others.

You can get all these products on the discounted rates at both online and local retail Apple stores as well. So, if you already had plans to go the Apple retail stores, then you might have to wait until Friday to get reasonable discounts on many Apple products. Those customers who are planning to get Apple’s educational pricing on Macs might also compare the prices as many of Mac models have lower rates in Black Friday deals while some of them are less costly in standard educational pricing.

Other online retailers will also be putting up discounts and Black Friday deals for Apple products as well, so you might get more savings there. You can also save the sales tax on these devices by buying them from those online retailers and it depends on your location. While Apple’s online store has the policy to charge local sales tax on all orders, wherever it is applicable.
