 Steve Jobs

Today, Aaron Sorkin was giving an interview to a reporter from E! Online at an event held in Santa Monica. Aaron said:

“Sony has asked me to write the movie and it’s something I’m strongly considering.”

Well, it seems like big names from Hollywood are clearly trying to take part in the Steve Jobs biopic. A few days ago we reported that there is an ongoing battle between George Clooney and Noah Wyle to play the lead role of Steve Jobs himself in the movie.

Aaron Sorkin was also the writer of well known movie, The Social Network which was based on the real life events of the life of Mark Zuckerberg and mainly showed that how Facebook came into existence. The Social Network was critically acclaimed and even got three Oscars as well. So, it seems like Sorkin is the perfect guy to be the writer of Steve Jobs’ movie which will be based on his biography authored by Walter Isaacson.

Aaron Sorkin also very much respects Steve Jobs and his long list of achievements, Sorkin stated:

“He was a great entrepreneur, he was a great artist, a great thinker.”

“Right now I’m just in the thinking-about-it stages,” he continued. “It’s a really big movie and it’s going to be a great movie no matter who writes it.”

The Steve Jobs biography was released last month and Aaron Sorkin has already read it and that’s all Sorkin knows about Steve Jobs yet. Well, now many of the Steve Jobs fans are waiting for the movie because the biography has left them with some lingering questions about the Apple co-founder. So, definitely a movie is required now and whoever writes it or stars in it should be able to portray the real image of the man who single handedly revolutionized our modern world.

Aaron Sorkin, who has already written a tech based screenplay and it was a real life event as well, so it qualifies him to be the ideal writer of the Steve Jobs movie as well.
