PTCL Resumes Cricket Info Service for Asia Cup 2010

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) resumed Cricket Info Service for customers who are diehard fans of Cricket. This scheme has been taken in view of Asia Cup 2010’s and the resulting cricket mania so that the cricket fans get un-interrupted updates.

This service will provide live cricket commentary on their landline telephone, especially during load shedding hours. Customers access this service and start hearing live commentary of Asia Cup by simply dialing 1216 from their telephone sets. The service has been activated from June 15, 2010. Any additional information about the service can be obtained from the helpline, 1236.

SEVP Commercial Naveed Saeed has said that service has specially been designed keeping in mind people’s interest in cricket. PTCL wants to keep updated with ball to ball uninterrupted live commentary. He further added through this service more value is offered along with creating excitement among the existing and potential customers.

Asif Inam EVP Consumer Services said the launch of this service will reinforce top of the mind presence of PTCL and its positive image as a customer centric organization, that facilitates us customers by bringing to them Live Cricket commentary on their telephone.

    This service is charges for RS 1 per minute, i think it must be more cheap as ptcl can afford it, i am sure crazy fans of cricket will enjoy listening live commentary at time of load shedding ;d
