Oracle Asia Pacific Experiences Consistent Customer Adoption in Q3FY10

Customers in the region continue to place confidence in Oracle to help achieve strategic business objectives, optimize business and lower IT costs.

Oracle Corporation continued to experience consistent customer adoption momentum in Asia Pacific for its third quarter fiscal year 2010.

A growing demand for standards-based business software solutions with deep industry functionality, coupled with rapid deployment and integration capability, is helping drive Oracle’s momentum in the region. Companies are choosing Oracle to address critical  business challenges, such as improving business agility, achieving cost efficiencies, delivering superior customer service and innovating new services.

“Important new customer wins in this quarter included customers like National Australia Bank, which selected Oracle Financial Services Analytics Applications to enable them to streamline risk reporting and further develop the analytical tools to support credit risk management,” said Steve Au Yeung, Senior Vice President, Oracle Asia Pacific. “This is just one example of how Oracle is helping its customers with specific and key industry needs. Overall, Oracle Asia-Pacific saw good uptake from across our lines of business across a broad variety of industries.”

APAC Customer Implementations and Expansions in Q3FY10

During third quarter of fiscal year 2010, organizations across key industries in Asia Pacific continued to implement or expand implementations of Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management and Oracle Business Intelligence, and Oracle Applications for their strategic company-wide business systems.
