Mobile Monday is a global community and NGO of mobile industry visionaries, developers and companies fostering cooperation and cross-border business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets into local markets. Mobile Monday works closely with other NGOs and World Bank.

Launch of MoMo Pakistan, the Centennial Chapter!
The MoMo Islamabad, Pakistan is the 100th chapter of the global Mobile Monday network. Celebrating the Centennial Chapter, MoMo will put Pakistan and it’s mobile business under local, regional and global spotlight. First time ever, MoMo Pakistan will take together the leading companies and personalities related to the Pakistani telecommunication business, enabling them to join the global family of MoMo, changing ideas, finding resources, developing to domestic and international market place and most of all, participate the development of the mobile industry and mobile eco-system in Pakistan.
MoMo Pakistan launch takes place on 19th April, 2010 at the Marriott hotel in Islamabad, hosting over 200 guests from the telecommunication industry, educational sector and governmental authorities. The event will enjoy media coverage hosted by the leading international and local media channels.
MoMo Pakistan is hosted by CUT Comsats Institute of Technology, one of the fastest growing universities in the South-Asia region, with a very powerful presence in the field of telecommunication.
