Khidmat Group” has announced the names of its candidates for the elections of Rawal Computer Association. The election would be held on February 22, 2010 (Monday). Shami Shah, the spokesman and candidate for the seat of General Secretary has said that “Khidmat Group” is taking part in the elections on the basis of its track- record of service for the computer vendor’s community.
He said that the Associations comprised on more than 300 members belongs to various business centers adjacent to 6th Road Rawalpindi, which is turning as the hub of IT and computer business.
The spokesman said that Mr. Nisar Ahmad would be contesting for the seat of president while Shahid Mukhtar(for vice-president), Shami Shah (for General Secretary), Mirza Sarfraz Mahmood )for joint secretary), Muzaffar Gilani (for finance secretary) and Asim Mumtaz (for press secretary) are the other candidates from the Khidmat Group.
Shami Shah added that computer vendor community at present confronting with various problems including the issue of copy rights. Hence, he aid, training and awareness to the vendors, especially in regards with IPRs would be top priory of his association after elections.
