PPS Introduced Mobile Money Order Service

Pakistan Postal Service (PPS) has introduced “Mobile Money Order” service in collaboration with Mobilink.Official sources told APP, that the PPS will provide all technical support with the help of a mobile company to undertake the service to their customers.“Service from 72 stations has already launched while 50 more stations will soon be put on the Mobile money Order net, the service has been operating in different cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabd, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan, Hyderabad and others,” sources added.

They said that customers have registered themselves for remittance and receipt of money at Postal counters already in operation in these 72 cities. The remittance of money can be made through use of mobile phones with the help of secret Pin-code, they said.

Necessary equipments including computer with internet connection, have been provided by the Pakistan Post while cellular company Mobilink has been managing the data through its main server by devising special software. The agreement to carry out as joint venture between PPS and Mobilink was signed back in 2008.

This service will provide easy assistance to their customer and will improve the fast money transforming in the country.
