It has been reported that there is a network upgrade going on in our telecom sector. The renowned Cisco is responsible for up gradation for PTCL while the Nokia Siemens Network is upgrading its client Telenor. The need for upgradation is dire as the world is now shifting towards a new concept of networks: known as the Next Generation Networks or NGN. This system brings down intelligence of the networks to the lowest level, without a compromise in speed but infact enhancing it manifold and making troubleshooting and security more easy and diverse.
Although the whole process of upgrading is usually seamless, users might experience glitches or miscommunication at some point of time. Especially regular downloaders of PTCL broadband might have experienced slow speed at times and no connectivity without any visible reason.
