Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) in collaboration with the government under the Universal Service Fund (USF) project has planned to provide VFone and Broadband telecom services to the students and people of remote areas. A press release issued by the PTCL regional general manager said on Tuesday that these areas include District Hyderabad, Badin, Dadu, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Thatta, Tharparkar and Umerkot. The release further said that in this USF project PTCL would establish Education Business Centers (EBC) and Community Business Centers (CBC) for educational and business purposes.
