The News that Asher Yaqub Khan, Chief Marketing Officier at Ufone is moving to Bangla Link as Chief Commercial Officer, Orascom’s Telecom arm in Bangladesh is now confirmed. Ufone’s spokesperson has confirmed Asher’s resignation on 31st July, 2009.
On Friday in media dinner at Marriot Hotel Islamabad the media gathering was held where Asher Yaqub Khan is officially said good bye and New CMO Mr. Akbar Khan is introduced to the media person.
Akbar Khan, who was heading Brands at Mobilink and the key person behind Mobilink’s boom but he resigned from Mobilink and Join Ufone as Head of Pricing and Strategy in December 2008. Now after resignation of Asher Yaqub Khan he is being promoted to Chief Marketing Officer Ufone.
