Cementing its lead to facilitate the consumers across Pakistan, Ufone has extended the circle of its free 3G trial services to Faisalabad and Peshawar.

Now the customers living in these cities will be able to benefit from the blazing speeds and seamless connectivity free of cost for 10 days. Users will be able to experience accelerated speeds for the initial 200 mb usage, whereas, for any subsequent usage, a reduction in speed would be experienced up to 128 kbps, about which the customer will be intimated via an SMS, moreover, the policy will be auto renewable on daily basis.

Mr Taimur Faiz Cheema, GM Marketing at Ufone, said regarding this extension offer, “As announced earlier, we are further rolling out our 3G services to Faisalabad and Peshawar in subsequent stages to facilitate and acquaint our customers with this newly introduced service by the operator for free, although for a limited period.”

The services could be availed by simply switching to WCDMA in 3G enabled smart phones, or by switching from 2G to 3G mode in other words. Prior to the activation, a notification SMS will be sent to the customer informing him about the 3G activation. Additionally, both prepaid and postpaid customers will be able to benefit from the 3G service free of cost for a limited time.
